Creamy MiSOgood Vegan Chickpea Gravy

MiSOgood Chickpea Gravy
1 (14-Ounce) Can Chickpeas, Drained
1/4 Cup MiSOgood Brown Rice Miso
Ground Black Pepper, to Taste (Optional)
1 - 1 1/2 Cups Hot Water
Simply place all the ingredients in your blender on high speed. Thoroughly puree, pausing to scrape down the sides of the canister as needed to keep everything incorporated. Serve immediately, while steaming hot.
Makes 2 - 2 1/2 Cups
Notes: To really jazz up the flavor, consider adding 1 - 2 tablespoons of nutritional yeast, a pinch of dried sage, thyme, and/or rosemary.
