Our Favorite Summer Uses for MiSOgood
Warm weather, sun, and barbecue season are upon us! We love this time of year because we get to spend more time with family and friends. And what better way to do that than over a delicious summer meal?
When we think of MiSOgood, we often make a quick soup (ready in under 1 minute) or maybe a salad dressing. But there are many other ways to use MiSOgood to amp up your summer dishes. Here are a few of our favorites. Enjoy!
MiSOgood Spicy Vegan Grilled Corn
The taste of grilled sweet corn is the quintessential taste of summer. It’s juicy, sweet, and brimming with flavor.
Sometimes, though, we want something that has a little more kick. That’s where our Spicy Miso comes in! Simply drizzle some Spicy Miso over your grilled corn to give it a pleasant heat that balances well with the corn’s sweetness. Or, sprinkle on some dried red pepper flakes for those who like it extra hot!
Vegan Teriyaki MiSOgood Ketchup
Is there any other more quintessential summer condiment than ketchup? We don’t think so. It goes great on burgers and hot dogs (meat or veggie), fries, and many other foods.
So why not make your own ketchup with a bit of flair? Simply mix some tomato paste with MiSOgood Teriyaki for a condiment you won’t be able to get enough of. This recipe is easy, delicious, and consistently earns top marks from anyone who tastes it.
Teriyaki MiSOgood Vegan Baked Beans
Baked beans have been a cookout staple, probably as long as cookouts have been a thing. This recipe results in a satisfyingly sweet version that’s tangy with a hint of smoke. It’s great as a side dish or even over toast (if you want to go British). The recipe calls for our Teriyaki Miso, but the Sesame Miso can work well, too, adding a little nutty flavor.
Vegan Soba Noodle Salad with MiSOgood dressing
One of our favorite things to make and eat in the summer is salads. Light, crispy, and refreshing salads are the perfect summertime lunch or side dish. This Japanese-inspired dish uses soba noodles, which are often eaten cold, and our Soy-free MiSOgood brings a delicate flavor that blends well with all the other ingredients.
