Sesame Miso Peanut Butter Cookies

Amount Ingredients 

1 cup Salted butter for brown butter 

1 cup Salted butter 

1 cup Creamy peanut butter 

1⁄2 cup Almond Paste 

1⁄2 cup Sesame MiSOgood 

4 each, large Egg 

2 cups Granulated Sugar 

2 cups Brown Sugar 

5 cups All Purpose Flour 

2 teaspoon Baking Powder 

1-1⁄8 tablespoon Baking Soda 

1 teaspoon Salt 

Process

  •  Add salted butter to a clean saucepan 
  • Simmer until brown until frothy - medium heat 
  • Add butter to mixing bowl 
  • Add salted butter, peanut butter, almond paste, and MiSOgood to the stand mixer bowl 
  • Use whisk attachment to cream the butter mixture 
  • Add egg to the mixer one by one while continue mixing 
  • Add granulated sugar, brown sugar, all purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt to a clean large mixing bowl 
  • Whisk briefly until blended 
  • Mix dry ingredients into stand mixer bowl gradually 
  • Roll into logs on parchment paper 
  • Place in freezer until firm 
  • Pre-heat oven to 350® 
  • Place a clean baking sheet with parchment paper or silt mat to prepare for baking 
  • Divide cookies onto baking pan about 1” apart 
  • Sprinkle with salt 
  • Bake until light golden - 12 min, 350® 
  • Let cool and enjoy!
