Vegan MiSOgood Spicy Miso Marinara Sauce

1/4 Cup MiSOgood Spicy Miso
1 (28-Ounce) Can Fire-Roasted Diced Tomatoes
1/4 Cup Fresh Basil, Minced (Optional)
1/2 Teaspoon Fresh Ground Black Pepper (Optional)
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the MiSOgood Spicy Miso and tomatoes. Stir well to incorporate and bring to a boil.
Reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer for 15 - 20 minutes, until slightly thickened.
Add fresh basil and black pepper if desired. Serve hot, or store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week.
Makes About 2 1/2 Cups
Notes: This sauce is also great on pizza, or used for dipping breadsticks.
