Our Favorite Spring MiSOgood Recipes

Spring is one of our favorite times of the year. The flowers are starting to bloom, trees are sprouting new leaves, and a new crop of fresh spring veggies are hitting the farmers' markets. It is a beautiful time of year that makes us breathe a sigh of relief that winter's over and puts us in a cooking mood (okay, truth be told, we're always in the mood to cook).

To that end, here are a few recipes that can benefit from some fresh spring vegetables and some tasty MiSOgood!

MiSOgood Teriyaki Vegan Tofu Tacos

Tacos are one of the most beloved foods in the world. They're also highly adaptable to almost any diet and taste.

This Asian-inspired taco combines sweet and tangy MiSOgood Miso Teriyaki with a bright, acidic yet sweet coleslaw, topped with traditional taco fillings like avocado and cilantro, all on a warm corn tortilla. It's not just so good. It's MiSOgood.

Sesame MiSOgood Yaki Onigiri

This onigiri is a modern take on traditional Japanese finger food and is excellent to make in advance and take with you. Here, classic sushi rice is smothered in tasty, sweetened MiSOgood Sesame Miso sauce. The toasted black and white sesame seeds at a nutty zing, too.

Vegan TikTok Salmon Rice Bowl

The social media platform TikTok is known for its fast recipes as much as its dances. And this rice bowl does not disappoint!

To emulate the salmon, we suggest using jackfruit in brine and MiSOgood Sesame Miso, soy sauce, wakame, sesame oil, and a couple of other ingredients. In addition to the imitation salmon, we recommend topping the rice bowl with avocado, kimchi, and shredded nori (dried seaweed sheets). Of course, feel free to use your imagination and incorporate any other toppings your taste buds might demand.

MiSOgood Vegan Kimchi

Speaking of kimchi, here's an easy recipe to make that spicy, zingy Korean cabbage accompaniment. We love making kimchi because a) it tastes delicious and b) it can be used in so many ways. Also, it's super healthy because it's fermented, which means it's full of the good bacteria that help keep your gut healthy! Of course, kimchi is traditionally spicy, and adding our MiSOgood Spicy Miso and the traditional gochugaru (Korean red pepper flakes) gives it a little extra kick. You've been warned!

Homemade MiSOgood Applesauce

Looking for a sweet snack that won't weigh you down? Our homemade applesauce recipe is fast and easy to make. The addition of MiSOgood Sweet and Savory White Miso gives it a savory balance that you don't usually find in applesauce.
